Joe Garbett Dance (UK) Get Lost

‘Get Lost’ is about encouraging curiosities, igniting adventures, and pushing past stereotypes. As the story unfolds (literally, the dance floor is a huge unfolding map!) the relationship between the two characters is ambiguous. The two dancers are empathetic, hyper, soft and tactile as they support, celebrate and solve their way through this wholesome yet high-energy performance. 

The audience are made a key part of the adventure by being encouraged to interact physically with the show from start to finish - guided throughout by the dancers to parachute the map, tug the ropes and even hold onto their smelly shoes!  

‘Get Lost’ is a new and exciting dance piece advocating for more platonic touch between men and masc presenting people, showcasing positive ways they can use touch to encourage healthier interactions.
