Ibrahim Mousa [NL/PS] Transit

Picture this: you want to travel with your father's dead body from the Netherlands to Palestine to bury him on his home ground. You are about to leave when you are told that your father's Israeli residence permit is no longer valid because he is dead. New law! He's not allowed in the area, what do you do?

In the political and socially critical monologue Transit, the Dutch-Palestinian theater maker, actor and playwright Ibrahim Mousa makes a powerful statement about the status quo in this world.

Ibrahim Mousa is a Palestinian-Dutch theater maker, actor and writer who was born in Saudi Arabia and raised in Kuwait. After the Gulf War of 1990-1991, he moved with his family to Jordan. In 2002 he came to the Netherlands to follow his passion and study theater. After graduating, he started working as an independent theater maker, writing and producing his own plays.
