Het Wilde Oog [NL] Spakenburg Meets The World
After a successful exhibition in the Mondriaanhuis in 2020, in which the dialogue was conducted between the Spakenburg Divas and Piet Mondriaan, Hans Lemmerman and Inge van Run of Het Wilde Oog invited six costume designers for the project 'Spakenburg Meets The World'.
Their assignment: make a costume with a Spakenburg technique from fishing and traditional costumes as inspiration. The designs are worn by eighteen men from three domains: Medelanders, Amersfoortse Cultuurdragers and national theater makers who have done pioneering work on the stages.
