When your day is filled with all kinds of things that need to be done. If you are used to running from one appointment to the next. If you check your smartphone every hour so as not to miss anything. Then you will notice that doing absolutely nothing is much easier said than done.

Can it be done, doing absolutely nothing? You're always doing something, even if you do nothing at all. And how hard is doing nothing, really? It's harder than doing something, that's for sure. Before you have time to do nothing, there is always something to do. But that way you never get around to doing nothing. You can safely say: doing nothing is hard work.

Take your time, go whistling and strolling. A bad conscience keeps you from slacking. Being lazy makes time stand still, makes you zoom out, daydream and forget. If you succeed, you will regain your strength, new ideas and insights. From now on, use your dormant and hidden talents more often to do nothing at all. Let the turtle set your pace.
