Spoffin OFF Award is back after seven years

After seven years the Spoffin OFF Award is back! Thanks to our sponsor VKZ Consultancy, we’re able to offer not just an award, but also a cash prize of €2.500,-
As of 2022, we will, after 7 years, re-establish the Spoffin OFF Award. We have a new sponsor, VKZ Consultancy, who wants to support the development of talent in street arts. During the upcoming years, they will grant a prize of € 2.500,- for the best-appreciated performance in the Spoffin OFF section (chosen by the audience).
Cash prize for development
We have to thank our sponsor VKZ Consultancy for the award. Their goal is to stimulate talent in the world of street theater and give them the chance to develop further. “As VKZ, we find it essential to stimulate (young) talent. It’s the reason why we want to make this award happen. With the prize comes also a cash prize of €2.500,- for further development of a new show for the winner”, says owner and CEO of VKZ Consultancy Saskia Knoop.
Spoffin will offer the winner a 1-week residency (use of a theater or dance studio, accommodation, meals, and compensation of travel costs) the week before the next festival. During the festival, the winner can show either a work-in-progress or have an official premiere (depending on the development stage). In case of a premiere, we will support the winner in publicity and also pay a fee.
